Their Pain

The Nest is an independent production for BBC One, with limited time, budget and in-house expertise. By the time the show had wrapped, the production’s photographer had left the project — which meant the team no longer had access to image management software.

They had 699 images across 5 episodes and one day of gallery photography, with 6 actors holding contractual approval rights. They needed the easiest and quickest solution possible, with the show due to air the following month.

Our Solution

Studio Lambert opted for our full-service package. They supplied their selected stills via a secure download link, and we got to work tagging cast, resizing images, and uploading them to the ImageApprovals platform.

We then created accounts for each of their actors and provided Welcome Packs for production to forward on. These packs contained each actor’s unique login information and a quick user guide — so production didn’t have to field any support requests throughout the process.

We also supplied one production account and user guide to their producer, Clare Kerr, so she could oversee cast progress without chasing each actor directly.

Once cast had completed their approvals, production were able to download reports in both contact sheet and spreadsheet format — a full audit trail of all decisions made.
