Their Pain
Up to 15,000 images were shot across 30 days of photography on Belfast. The production had five big-name cast members with contractual approval rights — a significant approval coordination challenge for a small, independent team working to a tight budget.
Our Solution
As a small independent production, budget was the primary concern. The Belfast team opted for our limited-availability In-House package, which gave them the tools while keeping costs manageable.
- The production’s photographer uploaded images directly to the ImageApprovals platform, removing a manual handover step.
- A member of the production staff tagged the cast members who appeared in each image.
- We created accounts for each cast member and supplied Welcome Packs for production to forward on. These packs contained each cast member’s unique login credentials and a quick user guide — meaning production did not have to field support requests throughout the process.
- We also provided an account for producer Tamar Thomas, so she could oversee cast progress without needing to chase each actor or their representatives directly.
- Once cast completed their approvals, our configurable kill reports gave the production a clear list of images cleared for use.
