Key project wins:

• The organisation of a huge production spanning almost 18,000 images, shot across 76 days of photography, with approvals managed for 10 cast members.
• Images received and uploaded weekly, in order to facilitate a quick start to the talent approvals process whilst production was still underway.
• Identified and corrected issues with images that were submitted incorrectly, such as spotting duplicate files and files with problematic naming conventions.
• 15,550 images were approved by the cast, resulting in 87% of the total images being useable for the post-production team.
• All images were organised and ready to return to the client within 1 working day of the cast completing their approvals

Their pain:

• An incredibly large volume of images and a large cast, with 10 talent requiring approvals to meet their contract terms.
• They needed a flexible pricing model that would reflect the different amount of images submitted from each shoot day.
• They wanted to get the talent approvals process started whilst filming was still in progress, and needed to be able to show producers images on a weekly basis.
• With 10 members of cast having stills approvals, they needed an easy way to manage and track their progress.
• They required all kills to be formally logged and documented

• To enable the client to upload images daily and review on a weekly basis.
• We provided a thorough auditing process to ensure the integrity of the assets, with extremely process-driven workflows which is incredibly important when dealing with images of this volume.
• We implemented a strategy for navigating cast approvals that ensured the producers met the cast contract terms around approvals, whilst providing a good user experience for actors.
• We provided producers, actors and their reps with an easy-to-use digital approvals platform.
• We were able to supply a full set of reports both in visual PDF and data-driven spreadsheet format.

Timeline:

Oct 27^th – Started to receive images on a daily basis.

Oct 27^th – First set of stills processed and released for cast approvals the same day.

April 12^th – All cast approvals complete.

April 15^th – All images organised and delivered back to the client with the final set of reports, on the next working day.
